Hatha Yoga is the most widely practiced form of yoga in the world. Through proper alignment, deep breathing and mindful actions of the body, Hatha Yoga brings balance and strength, promotes good health and build self-esteem and confidence.
My class offers a beautifully integrated experience with many of the traditional yoga practices blended in a dynamic and balanced way. It includes postures (asana), breathing practices (pranayama), mindfulness and deep relaxation. Classes are moving meditations, where it's important to deepen fully into each asana with the primary focus of being present in the now and being open to experiencing the joy, peace and vitality ever present within the Self.
The class creates a strong, supple and relaxed body, increases vitality and helps in curing illnesses and addictions. Hatha Yoga is not only a wonderful tool to reduce stress. Above all it is designed to help the body, emotions and mind to return to their natural state of good health and balance.
It's recommended to wear comfortable cloth that don't bind and restrict circulation. A yoga mat is usually available in the studio but please check when booking.
I offer private one-to-one Yoga classes to absolute beginners or more experienced yoga students. Classes are scheduled to suit the client's needs. I will guide the student through the different asanas with attention to alignment, personal corrections and adjustments. I will tailor the class to each person's specific needs and conditions in a safe environment.
